Rescue: Under Pressure
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Bring a friend and explore the bottom of the ocean together! Can you find the lost treasure? Be the brave Pilot and drive the submarine through the frightening underwater caves. Play as the crafty Engineer and man the sonar with care.
This is the prototype of a game developed within research work. Gameplay is based on the collaboration between two players who play asymmetric roles. One role (the Engineer) implies an entirely auditory challenge (blind accessible) and the other (the Pilot) implies a visual challenge. The game was designed as an inclusive game experience for players with mixed visual abilities.
Good dives!

Hi! My friend is trying to run the game in Mac and it doesn’t execute. It’s not an executable. He says it’s also not a zip?
Hi Patricia! Can you try the new executable option (Mac Silicon). If this works, I can do the same for the airplane game :)
Hello. I just downloaded both versions and neither can be opened. This is not the usual security warning telling you to jump through hoops for your own safety, it just can't be opened.
ETA: Same for the airplane game.
I'm on an M2 macbook running Sequoia 15.7.3
Hi! I asked Jaogwal to test it. He has a Mac. As you can see in his reply, it’s not working yet.
Hey! I'm not sure why it's not working - I tried to search for a solution but, given that I don't have a Mac to test, it gets difficult to understand what's going on. I'm sorry :/
Well, that sucks. I wonder if you can get someone to help? I know a lot of programmers who’d probably be happy to help you figure it out at the Games for Blind Gamers jam discord server. Or I guess probably even anywhere where people make Unity games, they don’t even have to be blind-accessible.
